The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

I would try to make this humorous, but this is pure seriousness.  Humor might pop in, but no guarantees, so if you're not interested....keep scrolling.

Here's the thing, as much as family can be a pain in the arse...when you're really in a slump, they are ALWAYS there for you.

Today was a rough day for my family.  Not as a whole, but a lot of personal troubles came forward for every individual.  So what did we do?  We did how Faraj's do, we all climbed on to the couch (minus the four youngest and Gabry, who's off in NC..OK, so it was Bella, Chica, my mom, me and the dog) and cuddle and talk and, yeah, cry a little because we're girls and it happens.

Here's the thing, I can take a pretty good beating and I've had to quite a few times....but when it comes down to it, I am my sisters' protector...if you so much as freaking LOOK at them in a way I don't like; you WILL die.  So if you go and start PICKING on my sister(s)...I will freaking DE-STROY you....have I made myself clear?

Sometimes life can be a jerk.  Leading you one way, convincing you that everything is fine and the moment you start to let loose and trust a little bit, it turns on you, shuts you down and gives you the cold shoulder.  Life can be a bully and push you around.

But guess what?  That's what family is for.  So when everyone and everything is stacked up against you, they will ALWAYS be there for you to pick you back up, make stupid jokes and cuddle with you when you just need a good cry.

Family is there for you.
For the good.
The bad.
And the really, really ugly.

Never underestimate how powerful family is and the impact they have on you and your life.
Because no matter where you go, the choices you make, etc....they will still love you.
They're the people who know you inside and out (why do you think they're s

o irritating??  They know which knobs make you tick!).

Never take the people who love you the most for granted.

I love you Momma, Baba, Gabry, Bella, Chica, Gigi, Sofie, Lu, and Anth.  God is so good to have put you in my life...no way could I handle what I've been dealt without you (and Him of course).

And everyone else???  Go thank GOD for your crazy, annoying, obnoxious, wonderful, perfect families...and even if it's not something you do, go give them all hugs and kisses...life's too short to go around taking the most important parts for granted!
