I DON'T KNOW WHY!!!
Nothing out of the ordinary is projected to happen. For some reason though, I can't shake this feeling that something stupendous is about to. I feel as though, any moment now, I will receive a phone call or a text message or an email or a knock on the door with "GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!"
But for the life of me....I can't think of what it could possibly BE.
The problem with anticipation is: if you don't know what you're anticipating or when it will come...it gets to be less of happy jitters and more of nervous anxiety jitters.
It's so weird. Ever since my basketball game last night (my last of the season....actually, the last of my life! * SOBS *), I have just been overwhelmed with waiting for something...ANYTHING to happen!!!!
Even if I have to drive across the country to find what I'm waiting for....I WILL, GOSH DARNIT!!!
Oh well, I will survive until this feeling either goes away or SOMETHING HAPPENS!!!!!!!!!!!
One last thing, because I have to, an ode to my basketball:
Here's to 5 years of some pretty crazy stuff, Coach (in middle school) yelling at me for my overly-aggressive nature (I still think she deserved it, the nasty little bugger), in high school: Coach's cheering like mad as I took multiple charges, increasing my speed, stamina and quickness this season, becoming one of the top rebounders at 5'5", holding my own against girls 10 times my size...It's been a good run despite the dehydration, soreness, Coaches being mad at me (you'd have to be at the game I keep referring to to REALLY understand).
I am really going to miss basketball. I love this rough game.
Here's a picture of some of my most recent bruises and scrapes...it's hard to see, but there's a huge one on my shin too...
Peace!
