For instance, last night, I barely made it to the gas station. No...really...I literally was praying my heart out and coasting through some pretty nasty weather in order to pull up to the gas pump just as my car alerts me that I am "0 Miles Until Empty."
This morning, as I am chaotically rushing to and fro attempting to pack in time for my family to leave for our camping trip--aaaandd what do I do??? I drop my phone (with a case, mind you and NOT on it's screen) and what happens?? THE SCREEN SHATTERS!!! Just my luck, just my luck. Of course, it's the day my best friend leaves to go back to Brazil for four months.
Let's just say, it's been quite a day.
To be honest, the phone is a non-issue. It's just one of those things where it just seems like one thing after another.
Oh well!! I am the luckiest girl alive, and I don't care how much homework I have hanging over my head or how many problems that just refuse to stop piling up...I am going to have an amazing trip with my family.
Personally, my biggest fear is that I can't even keep a teeny tiny little phone safe from shattering and I am intending to go out tomorrow, strap an extra 20 feet to each foot and attempt to make it up and down hills all day....WITHOUT DYING. I know I've survived it before, but luck does not seem to be in the favor of this Clumsy Idiot lately! ;-)
Oh, and here's just a little shoutout to my dear Shaniqua:
I know we were together for less than a month, my dear friend...but it was...special. * Sniffle * You will always hold a special place in my heart...blah, blah, blah...personally, I just can't wait to get myself a new phone and bury you, dear, dear Shaniqua.
*This is not Shaniqua, Shaniqua was Verizon and far superior...until she went and DIED on me...
P.S. I found the culprit of the mysterious doll on the living room floor...it was Sofia, Miss "I Love Skiing!"
Peace!
