I've always considered myself a pretty steady person, not usually one to respond to stress or nerves by "attacks of tremors and heart palpitations." However, today, that is very much NOT the case!!!!

Oh, dear Lord!!! I believe that this is definitely how poor Mrs. Bennet imagined she felt!!!
Well....that was at about 1PM today....and believe you me...palpitations?? HA!!!! Not even close to describing it!!
You see, today was the big day!! The day is the "great unveil" so to speak. ;) Anyway, today was the day I got the big announcement about my good ol' scholarship competition. There was this whole big competition, about 1000 high school Seniors competed by going to Eastern Michigan University for the day, we had to write an essay and go through a panel interview. The top 45 got called back last Saturday for a SECOND interview. Then, the top 16 are chosen for the Four-year, full-ride scholarship. The next 8 after that are selected to receive full tuition for four years.
Well, somehow I got into the top 45. Today, I got *DUN DUN* THE PHONE CALL!!!!
I didn't make the top 16, unfortunately. However, I did get selected to be in the 8 after that (24 of 1000[ish]?!?!?!?! I'm amazing ;p).
Anyhow, now (because my initials are AMMFFM...no, really, they are...and I thrive on worrying/stressing) I'm trying to figure out how to get the Scholarship Money to stay on campus. You see, that's the fine print for my fabulous scholarship...I am required to stay on campus for two years. I mean, THAT'S not the problem. I want to stay on campus SO badly, for at least a year!!! But I guess, it's just working out the logistics at this point.
Well, I'm gonna go back to Being AWESOME now.
