Let's Get Organized...

Organization, people, organization.  It's the key to success.  Really and truly.  Would I lie to you????   NO I WOULDN'T.

My spectacular organizational skills are something I present up-front when describing myself.  Today, I've come to the sad realization that maybe this organization I'm so thrilled about doesn't carry over to all aspects of my life...

As you can see from the above picture...CASE IN POINT!!!!  Above is the result of my desperate search for one of my school books.  (By the way, I did end up finding it...a few hours later...and it was nowhere near that mess).  If I had all the organizational skills I advertise, I would not have lost the book in the first place.  If I had said organizational skills, I would not have had to cause such an explosion all over the floor of the dining room.

Alas, MY WHOLE LIFE IS A LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!  It's like what happened last night:

I was talking to Bella and Shannon (sister and basically sister) about life.  We were watching Emma and Shannon mentioned that Mr. Knightley is the only fictional character in the world she would not have already broken up with (she's extremely picky) and so, I, in all my sage wisdom and wonderfully accurate self-image say: "I like to think that I'm very patient and forgiving of people..." *glance at phone* "GAH!!! WHY HAVEN'T THEY CALLED ME YET?!?!?!?!" (I'm waiting for a phone call about the results of a HUGE scholarship I applied for...I should know by Friday...the interview was on Saturday..)
I can honestly say, the irony of the moment didn't even cross my poor, confused mind until Shannon and Bella laughed at me and explained it.

Maybe I should just take a step back and re-self-evaluate since my facts seem to be a little off at the moment.

Guess it just goes to show how blinding and sneaky pride can be....

Well, I must take my scattered, impatient, semi-organized self elsewhere to finish my homework.

Peace!
